The Hampton Court Palace 10K Presented by Voltarol brought a historic morning of running to East Molesey on Sunday 19 October 2025, with 2,000 participants taking on an iconic route that started and finished inside the palace grounds. Runners headed out along The Barge Walk beside the Thames and returned through Home Park before crossing the line to collect a regal medal and enjoy a photo with Henry VIII.

“Racing through the grounds of Hampton Court Palace was a special experience and it showed on every smiling face. We were proud to welcome runners of all levels to this iconic setting and were grateful to Voltarol, our volunteers, and the palace team for making it possible,” said Matt Wood, Co-founder of RunThrough.
As Official Pain Relief Partner, Voltarol supported runners with on-site sampling and the Voltarol Recovery Zone to aid optimal recovery post race. The dedicated area provided a comfortable space to cool down and focus on post-race recovery, complementing the finish-line experience.
The route showcased the best of Hampton Court Palace and its surrounding parkland, combining fast, flat sections with scenic riverside running. With a professionally marked and measured course, clear wayfinding, and chip timing, the event offered an enjoyable and accessible experience for both first-timers and club athletes. Spectators lined key points along The Barge Walk and within the palace grounds to cheer runners home, adding to a lively finish-line atmosphere. Every finisher received post-race goodies and free race photos, rounding off a day that celebrated movement, community, and a truly historic setting.
From a field of 2000 finishers, Ollie Garrod claimed the overall win in 32:46, while Saskia Geddes took the women’s title in 39:31.
