This week we bring to you… Jess’ healthy pancake recipe (as pancake day is fast approaching). This pancake recipe is not only delicious and super easy to make but high in protein and filled with goodness from within🥞
You will need:
1 cup oats
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp baking powder
1tsp vanilla extract
*You can also add protein powder to this if you wish but you may need extra liquid such as more milk or some water!*💧
Method is as easy as: Blend up the oats in a blender until a flour like consistency and add in all other ingredients, blend until combined and a light batter is formed .
Spoon into a heated, non-stick frying pan and flip when bottom browned and top starts to form air bubbles! 🍳
Serve in a stack with your favourite toppings; I love berries, a bit of maple syrup, peanut butter for some healthy fats and a dollop of yoghurt to ramp up the protein!
