11th December – Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Chase The Moon 5k & 10k
The week began under the glowing city lights at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where runners took on the Chase The Moon 5k & 10k. This ever-popular midweek series brought together athletes of all levels to race through the iconic venue’s fast, flat course. With cool winter air and an electric atmosphere, it was the perfect way to shake off the midweek blues and chase down personal bests.
14th December – Tatton Park 5k & 10k
On Thursday, we headed to the stunning Tatton Park for a scenic 5k and 10k. The frosty Cheshire countryside offered a breathtaking backdrop for participants pushing their limits on this picturesque course. With its crisp winter atmosphere and a warm sense of camaraderie, the event was a seasonal delight for all who took part.
15th December – Run Aintree 5k, 10k & Half Marathon
Saturday brought us to the iconic Aintree Racecourse, where runners tackled 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon distances. Known for its flat and fast course, this event offered the perfect setting for chasing PBs and enjoying a supportive race-day atmosphere. Runners of all levels came together to embrace the challenge, cheered on by friends, family, and the enthusiastic RunThrough community.
15th December – The RunThrough Foundation LONDON TEN Presented by ASICS
The week concluded with a historic moment at the RunThrough Foundation LONDON TEN, presented by ASICS. Hosted at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, this free-to-enter mass-participation event welcomed 5,000 runners to take on a closed-road 10k course, showcasing inclusivity and community at its heart. The event was a celebration of diversity, with participants from all backgrounds and first-time runners experiencing the joy of a professionally managed race. Collaborations with community groups like SheRUNS, Black Girls Do Run, and Muslim Runners added to the day’s vibrant atmosphere.
