7th December – Battersea Park 5k & 10k – SOLD OUT
The week began with a sold-out event at the ever-popular Battersea Park. Known for its flat and fast course, this race drew runners eager to chase their personal bests in the crisp winter air. The supportive atmosphere, paired with the stunning park scenery, made it a perfect evening for all. The festive cheer was palpable as participants crossed the finish line, celebrating their achievements under the park’s twinkling lights.
7th December – Carsington Water 10k & Half Marathon
For those seeking a countryside escape, Carsington Water delivered a breathtaking experience. With 10k and Half Marathon distances on offer, runners tackled the picturesque trails around the reservoir, enjoying the serene beauty of Derbyshire. The challenging undulating route provided a rewarding test for participants, and the tranquil setting added an extra layer of magic to this winter event.
8th December – Blackburn 10k
Sunday brought us to the iconic Ewood Park for the Blackburn 10k, an event filled with community spirit and camaraderie. Starting and finishing inside the historic stadium, runners took on a flat and fast route through Blackburn town centre. The support from local crowds and the electric atmosphere made this race truly special. With Barratt Homes as the event’s official Charity of the Year, participants not only raced for personal triumphs but also contributed to a worthy cause.
