London, UK – RunThrough, the UK’s largest and Europe’s fastest growing running events organiser, is delighted to announce that over £150,000 was raised for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity through fundraising at the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon, which took place on 23rd March 2025. This far surpasses the target set by The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, the Official Charity of the Year for the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon.
Taking place at one of the UK’s most iconic historical landmarks, the sold-out race welcomed over 200 charity runners amongst the 4,000 taking part, many of whom praised the unforgettable experience, scenic route, and uplifting support from the crowd. Friends, families, and cheer squads lined the course, creating a joyful and supportive atmosphere that brought runners of all levels together.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. They ensure The Royal Marsden’s world-leading nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used around the world.
