As runners, we are no strangers to PB’s, setting paces and clocking some serious mileage but all of the above can prove difficult if we do not work on other areas that help us achieve these target goals. The trainers at FIIT have shared with us some tips on how you can become a better runner covering areas including: Yoga, Pilates and Mobility training, Breath work and strength training. Getting an injury can really throw a spanner in the works for our training but there is such a wide variety of other sports and exercises we can try to keep us ticking over during injury. Aqua jogging is a great way to work the same muscles and joints as running without the impact and with the increased resistance of water.
