Now, it is key to note that there is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to this. However, this is a great way to base it off as a general guideline.This plate example is used for high intensity training\/competition\/race days. This is often used as a pre and or post training\/race to help support recovery too.<\/div>\n

Let’s explore the plate in more detail:½ carbs: Providing energy. Low fibre, white options are best to avoid GI upset. For example, white pasta, potatoes, rice, bread. ¼ protein: Helping to repair and build muscle, especially after. For example, chicken, fish, tofu. ¼ vegetables: For vitamin & minerals, supporting the immune system.<\/div>\n
Don’t forget: one source of healthy fats such as olive oil, avocado, nuts\/seeds. As well as plenty of water. Energy & nutrient needs will, as always, differ between individuals and training cycles at the time.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
