What does running mean to you, and how did you get into running?

Sport is probably my only interest in life, as sad as that sounds. Have played one sport or another since I could walk and it really is the only thing I’m passionate about! Running a marathon has always been on my bucket list and working for a running company has helped my interest in running grow!

When did you start with RunThrough, what is your role?

I started at RT about 3 years ago! Crazinessss. My role is communications manager. You’re probably bored of my name if you’ve ever sent an email to RT

What do you love about RunThrough?

I love the community aspect of RT and the people! everyone is like minded whether it’s us as the staff or the runners

What is your favourite RunThrough event, and why?

My favourite event has to be Hyde Park.

It is always such a popular event and it is pretty cool to host an event in one of London’s most famous parks. Always seems to be good whether when we’re there as well (touch wood) – that’s a bonus!

What would you say to anyone coming to an event for the first time?

1 – Don’t panic. If there is any issue we can always sort it out, whether this is on the day or in advance!
2 – Don’t compare yourself to anyone else, run your own race. It’ll be much more enjoyable if you do this rather than comparing your result to someone else
3 – Enjoy it! Let all your hard work pay off on the day

What is your proudest moment?

My proudest moment would be when I volunteered for The Seaver Foundation and helped run a successful sports camp for disadvantage kids in an orphanage in Mexico for 2 summers.

What are your current running/sporting goals?

My long term running goal is to run a marathon! One thing off the bucket list!

What is an interesting fact that no-one would know about you…

Something people don’t often realise, because we are un-identical, is that I am a twin. Oh and I can click my tongue louder than anyone I know!
