NUTRITION ADVISE
This month we are celebrating ‘Sustainable September’ so I am bringing to you some tips to eat more sustainably!
Of course there are many more but here are a few…
Eat fruit and vegetables that are in season – Here is a great guide to check what is in season and when View the guide here.
Swap meat for veggie options  – This does not have to be a permeant thing, simply having a ‘meat free Monday’ or a few days per week going meatless is a great start.
Avoid food waste  – Ensure you are only cooking as much as you need, or cook extra and use it as meal prep, batch cook for the whole week and freeze the left overs, are all great options! Even small things such as left over chicken bones and veggie cuttings can be a great start for bone broths and making stocks for other meals!
Choose loose fruit and veg wherever possible  – take your own reusable bags for loose veggies and fruit, this can greatly help to reduce plastic usage and consumption.
